The short version

Puzzle Arcade collects nothing about you. There is no account, no analytics, no ads today, and the app asks for no permissions at all, not even internet access. Your coins, scores and skins are saved on your phone only. We may add ads through Google AdMob in a future update, and if we do, this page changes first.

Who we are

Puzzle Arcade (“the app”, package in.atulpatare.puzzlearcade) is an Android game made by Atul Patare, an independent developer (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at atulpatare99@gmail.com.

What we collect

Nothing. We do not collect, receive, store on a server, sell, rent or share any personal information or usage data. The app has no sign-up or login, so we never know who you are. It contains no analytics or crash-reporting tools.

The app does not request the internet permission, so in its current version it cannot send information off your device, even by accident.

What stays on your phone

To remember your progress, the app keeps a small file in its private storage on your device. It holds:

This information is used only to run the game and is never sent to us or anyone else. Uninstalling the app, or clearing its storage in your phone’s settings, deletes all of it.

Permissions

Puzzle Arcade requests no Android permissions. It does not use your location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos, files or advertising ID. (Gentle vibration feedback uses a system feature that needs no permission.)

Backups

Android’s built-in Auto Backup may copy the app’s small save file to your own Google account if you have device backup turned on. That is a feature of your phone and your Google account, controlled by you in Android settings, and we have no access to it. It is how your coins and skins can come back if you move to a new phone.

Advertising (planned for the future)

Today, Puzzle Arcade contains no advertisements and no advertising code.

We may introduce ads through Google AdMob in a future update. If we do, the AdMob SDK (operated by Google) may collect and use certain information from your device, for example the advertising ID, IP address, approximate location and basic device and app information, to deliver and measure ads. The app would then also request internet access. Google describes this in its advertising policies and in AdMob’s data disclosures.

Before any ads ship we will: update this policy and its date; update the Data safety section of the app’s Google Play listing; show a consent prompt where the law requires one; configure the ads to suit the audience the app is rated for, including child-directed treatment where it applies; and mention the change in the release notes.

Third parties

Right now Puzzle Arcade integrates no third-party services. Google Play distributes the app and handles downloads under its own privacy policy. We do not receive personal information from Google Play about you.

Children

Puzzle Arcade is a general-audience game with no violence, no chat, no user-generated content and no purchases with real money. Because we collect no personal information from anyone, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the applicable age in your country). Any future ads will be set up in line with Google’s policies for the audience the app is rated for.

Your rights and choices

Since we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export or delete on a server. Everything the app knows is on your device and you control it: turn the sound off in the app, or uninstall it or clear its storage to remove everything. If you are in a region with data protection laws (such as the EU, UK or California), the same applies: we do not collect or sell personal information. If ads are added later, we will describe your choices, such as resetting or opting out of personalised ads, on this page.

Security

Your game data is kept in the app’s private storage, which other apps cannot read on an unmodified Android device. Because nothing leaves your phone, there is no server of ours that could be breached.

Changes to this policy

If we change how Puzzle Arcade handles data, for example when ads are introduced, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date at the top before the change reaches players.
